JUANES

Juan Esteban Aristizabal Vasquez was born on August 9, 1972 in Medellin, Colombia, and takes her stage name as an abbreviation of his name, Juan Esteban.

He grew up in Medellín during the height of drug kingpin Pablo Escobar's reign, when the city had the highest homicide rate in the world. During his childhood, Juanes witnessed a civil war in which hundreds were killed. His cousin was killed by kidnappers, and gunmen also executed a close friend. To add further to Juanes' grief and desperation, his father died from cancer. This period shaped Juanes' social consciousness, saying "Colombia has suffered so much that the only way to go forward is to imagine a better country.

Since he was a child, 7 years old, he began to devote himself to his only passion: music. Soon, he founded his own group, Ekhymosis, where he was the lead singer and guitarist. The group held eight years and five albums, after which the solution arrived. n 1997 after the band broke up, Juanes continued solo and in 2000 he released the album, Fíjate Bien, which earned him three Latin Grammys. His follow-up album, Un Día Normal, was released in 2002 and was later certified platinum in multiple countries throughout Latin America. Juanes' third album, Mi Sangre (2004), which became an international bestseller, managing to position well in a number of countries around the world, achieved success due to the single "La Camisa Negra". He has since released La Vida... Es Un Ratico (2007) and P.A.R.C.E. (2010). On May 29, 2012 Juanes released the album Juanes MTV Unplugged.

Juanes met Karen Martínez during the filming of his video "Podemos Hacernos Daño". On August 6, 2004, they were married. The couple separated in May 2007, after three years of marriage due to unresolved differences, but reconciled four months later. They have three children together, two daughters: Luna Aristizábal Martínez (born September 6, 2003), Paloma Aristizábal Martínez (born June 2, 2005), and one son, Dante Aristizábal Martínez (born September 12, 2009)

Juanes is a vegetarian and currently lives in Key Biscayne, Florida.

PORTAL 2: JUANES' DAILY ROUTINE

1. Juanes wakes up really early. He is up since 5:00 am. He is a very important person and he has  a lot of things to do, that is why he wakes up with the sun!

2. He takes breakfast alone or with his family, he likes the countryside and get away from the city. He loves Colombian Coffe, because is the best coffee around the world, so he tries to get it, when he travels around the world

3. He usually practices with his guitar or singing, or he goes to some concert or presentation he has, he is very famous around the world, and he travels a lot for his job, and sometimes is difficult to be away from the family

4.  He loves to spend time with his family, his wife is an actress, so she also travels a lot, they love going to the beach, their daughters are Luna and Paloma, and the little one is Dante.

5. He likes to practice sports with his younger son Dante, he goes to the gym, he likes running, but his favorite sport is having a good time with his children.

6. He likes to drive out around the countryside, he likes to take his children to school when he is able to, he likes to sing while he is driving, when he is on tour he doesn't drive because he has to rest

7. At night, he goes out and plays in concerts, his concerts last at least 2-3 hours, it is a very exhausting thing to do, but he loves it. He perfoms in concerts around the world from Argentina, to Canada, Europe, everywhere!!!

8. Finally, he cames home to his family and rests. It is hard because they have a busy life, but his children love him and he is always expected at home with a lot of kisses. 

PORTAL 3: JUANES LIKES AND DISLIKES

Juanes likes to spend time with his family, he has 3 children, his  wife is a model and actress, their children are Paloma, Luna, and Dante. They are very cute children and very lovely, they all look like her mother

Juanes likes playing the guitar, he is a musician, since he was very young he likes playing his guitar and making music, he also sings, plays the piano and a little bit of drums, He is a very good musician and he loves singing in spanish

Juanes doesn't like singing in English, althoug he has sing in english, he rathers to sing in spanish, that is why he made the T-shirts "se habla español" so people who speak spanish feel proud

Juanes likes animals and nature, He likes to travel to  the countryside, and see the landscape, He likes Medellin, his home town and in medellin there are a lot of places to visit.

PORTAL 4: JUANES HOUSE

JUANES' HOUSE

Juanes has a big house, in Medellín, he also lives in Florida, because he is constantly traveling there,
His house in Medellin is a white house, beautiful and big. It has 6 rooms, one for his daugther Paloma, another one for Luna, other one for Dante, other room for he and his wife and a big big room for his instruments

He has a big pool, because he likes to swim, he swims a lot with his son Dante, 

His hometown is In Medellin, he loves Medellin, is one of the most beautiful cities of Colombia, is the city ot the eternal spring, it has a the best weather, and beautifl and really warm people
